Provider Network Management Director

Job Summary:

As a Director of Provider Network Management, you will play a key role in developing and managing our provider network through contract negotiations, relationship development, and servicing. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and requires residing within 50 miles/1 hour commute of our Nashville, TN office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a strong provider network.
  • Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to ensure favorable terms and rates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and other industry partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network development opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to associate resources, special projects/initiatives, or network planning.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare administration).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contracting, provider relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and relationship development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers.
  • Provider network build with demonstrated success in implementing recruiting plans and network adequacy experience.
  • Commercial line of business contracting experience along with Tennessee provider landscape knowledge.
