Nagel Services is seeking a skilled Project Manager to enhance our dynamic team. We are a forward-thinking Architecture and Engineering firm dedicated to sustainable and community-oriented design.
Role Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating and overseeing the project team to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, timelines, and design objectives throughout all stages of the project. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a commitment to leadership in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive scopes of work, fee structures, and timelines for proposals and contracts.
- Facilitate consistent communication with internal teams, consultants, and clients, including the documentation of meeting minutes and invoicing.
- Prepare proposal requests for external design consultants and provide hiring recommendations.
- Supervise the preparation of all design documentation in collaboration with consultants.
- Act as the primary advisor for clients throughout the design and construction phases.
- Coordinate and communicate with management, clients, consultants, and contractors regarding daily operations.
- Monitor project progress during the design and construction phases, reviewing all plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design concepts and contractual obligations.
- Support marketing and sales initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in project entitlement and relationship building with municipal officials, along with the ability to present to local planning boards.
- Strong management and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of the design and construction processes, as well as knowledge of building codes.
- Outstanding organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
Preferred Skills:
- Possession or potential to obtain an architect's license.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
- Experience in healthcare, multi-family residential, and retail design sectors.
