Role Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating and supervising the project team to ensure that project budgets, timelines, and design objectives are met across all phases. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring optimal satisfaction and engagement. Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with a keen desire to lead in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive scopes of work, fee structures, and timelines for proposals and contracts.
  2. Facilitate consistent communication with internal teams, consultants, and clients, including documentation of meeting outcomes and invoicing.
  3. Prepare proposal requests for external design consultants and provide hiring recommendations.
  4. Oversee the preparation of all design documentation in collaboration with consultants.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor for clients throughout the design and construction phases.
  6. Coordinate with management, clients, consultants, and contractors regarding daily operational activities.
  7. Monitor project progress throughout the design and construction phases, reviewing all plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design concepts and contractual obligations.
  8. Support marketing and sales initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in project entitlement and relationship building with municipal officials, along with presentation skills for local planning boards.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of the design and construction processes, including knowledge of building codes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession or potential to obtain an architect's license.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
  • Experience in sectors such as healthcare, multi-family residential, and retail design.
