We are seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse to join our esteemed community at Cantata Senior Living. This part-time role involves working every other weekend, contributing to a nurturing environment focused on providing outstanding care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all responsibilities with dignity, respect, and empathy, adhering to the Cantata Promise.
- Monitor resident safety and health through careful observation, assessment, and effective communication.
- Oversee the administration of medications, treatments, and updates to service plans.
- Offer guidance, education, and emotional support to both residents and their families.
- Facilitate care services and maintain clear communication with the clinical team.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and in-services to improve professional skills and knowledge.
- Adapt to evolving situations flexibly, acting as necessary on behalf of the Assisted Living Manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN certification in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Capacity to inspire and lead diverse groups.
- Detail-oriented with fundamental computer skills.
- Proficient in English and capable of managing the mental and emotional challenges of the position.
