Sales Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a brand ambassador for Tapestry.
  • Consistently demonstrates the company's selling and service standards.
  • Stays informed about local market trends that may affect business performance and assists in executing local sales strategies.
  • Enhances business through strategic selling, client relationship management, and proactive customer outreach.
  • Creates a positive shopping experience by presenting oneself in alignment with the company’s style guidelines.
  • Builds trust and credibility as a fashion advisor by showcasing a strong understanding of current trends and competitive offerings.

Operational Duties:

  • Ensures all daily responsibilities are completed without compromising service quality or company standards.
  • Handles daily operational tasks, including maintaining the sales floor, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to company standards.
  • Keeps the sales area clean and organized at all times.
  • Adheres to all relevant retail policies and procedures, including those related to point of sale, operations, and asset protection.
  • Restocks inventory on the sales floor as necessary.
  • Assists with the store inventory process by managing shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining organizational standards.
  • Supports cash wrap operations as needed for processing transactions.
  • Efficiently handles customer transactions, including purchases, returns, and exchanges.
  • Prepares the store by organizing functional areas, performing routine cleaning, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of prior sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
  • Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient in cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the use of mobile devices and the internet.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks at a fast pace, including maneuvering the sales floor and stockroom, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to meet scheduling expectations, including flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays during peak retail periods.
