Job Overview

The Lead Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the enhancement and execution of maintenance operations, including the formulation of Task Lists and Maintenance Strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret engineering documentation such as drawings and technical specifications to establish an Asset Hierarchy.
  • Create comprehensive Engineering Discipline-specific Work Instructions and Task Lists along with the necessary Master Data.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Maintenance Development and Optimization processes and technical methodologies.
  • Conduct assessments of equipment and spare parts criticality, as well as assign Safety Critical Elements to equipment.
  • Engage in client workshops and reviews to ensure alignment and understanding of maintenance strategies.
  • Identify spare parts necessary for Maintenance Strategies, cataloging them effectively and assembling Bills of Materials.
  • Support and facilitate reliability studies related to equipment, including RCM studies, FMEAs, FMECAs, Criticality Analysis, and RCAs.
  • Perform Maintenance Data Quality Assurance and Quality Control, contributing to the development of project documentation such as procedures and standards.
  • Enhance and optimize Work Management processes.
  • Conduct site-based assessments related to Work Management, Maintenance, and Reliability.
  • Prepare technical reports and participate in lessons learned sessions to share insights and improve practices.
  • Travel to various client sites as required.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
BSc, BEng, or BTech degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent qualification with relevant site-based experience in maintenance management and supervision.

Minimum Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in maintenance management and executing maintenance development projects. Proven experience in maintenance data development and updates, as well as the configuration of Maintenance and Spares Master Data. A balanced background in offshore and onshore asset equipment installation, operations, and maintenance is essential. Familiarity with Work Management processes and the operation and maintenance of oil and gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors is required. Knowledge of process and equipment safety systems is also necessary.

Job-Specific Skills
  • Understanding of reliability and maintenance processes, including Criticality Assessments, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance Studies.
  • Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Master Data Objects.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including data analytics and database management.
  • Functional knowledge of process mapping and lean methodologies.
  • Awareness of local statutory or regulatory maintenance requirements and risk management programs.
  • Familiarity with API and OSHA guidelines.
