As a Lead A&P Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring a skilled team of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and Aircraft Service Mechanics (ASMs). Your expertise will be vital in the examination, repair, assembly, testing, and reactivation of commercial aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs on aircraft components, including engines, power brake units, and fuel tanks, using appropriate tools and following established guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor a team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Utilize your knowledge of FAA regulations to maintain compliance during all maintenance procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, striving for excellence in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Valid A&P License is required.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial aircraft repair.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes and customer service principles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aviation equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and FAA-approved instructions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
