POSITION SUMMARY – Senior Systems Administrator – Quorum Management
The Senior Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the Quorum software, ensuring its functionality, dependability, and security. This position requires a highly skilled professional with significant experience in system administration. The individual will monitor system performance, provide technical support, and collaborate with various teams to enhance system capabilities. This role necessitates strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to meet operational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quorum Software Management:
    • Administer, configure, and maintain the Quorum software.
    • Ensure the software's optimal performance, reliability, and security.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to the Quorum system.
    • Conduct regular updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • System Oversight:
    • Monitor system performance to guarantee availability and reliability.
    • Manage and maintain the network infrastructure associated with the systems.
    • Implement and supervise backup, recovery, and security measures.
  • Technical Assistance:
    • Provide technical support and training to users.
    • Create and maintain system documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with IT team members and other departments.
    • Engage with vendors and service providers for system improvements and troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with project teams regarding system-related needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration.
  • Proven experience in managing and administering Quorum software.
  • Strong understanding of system and network administration.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with backup, recovery, and security protocols.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with SiteView software.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in system administration or specific software are advantageous.
