About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at MassGenics. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and security of our systems, including user account management, backup and recovery procedures, and software updates.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to our users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of our systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of new projects and initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, technical support, and system administration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, network protocols, and software applications; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Specialized Certifications: CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or healthcare environment.
