Position Title: Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Overview:
As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting extensive government operations through advanced technology. This position is designed for individuals eager to enhance their expertise and advance their careers in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the System Engineering Lead and Deputy to coordinate efforts with the industry M&S team.
2. Conduct thorough evaluations of M&S plans, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and milestones.
3. Engage with various stakeholders to establish M&S timelines, monitor delivery statuses, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
4. Utilize your extensive knowledge of the system engineering life cycle to analyze program challenges and propose solutions that align with strategic objectives.
5. Develop and deliver technical reports and presentations that clearly communicate complex concepts and recommendations.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Engineering)
- Over 12 years of relevant experience in Models and Simulations and Systems Engineering
- In-depth understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle
- Proven experience in integrating models and simulations into cohesive system-of-systems simulations

Desired:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Familiarity with MDA processes
- Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering
- Experience in creating documentation for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB)

Skills and Abilities:
- Capacity to work independently or lead teams in solving engineering and scientific challenges.
- Comprehensive technical and engineering knowledge.
- Familiarity with missile defense system components and missions.
- Understanding of DoD and MDA processes and procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
- Willingness to travel as required.
