About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Modeling and Simulation Engineer to become a vital part of our team. In this position, you will provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground System Development Project Office.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the GMD Industry M&S team while assisting the GMN System Engineering Lead and Deputy.
- Perform technical evaluations of GMD M&S strategies, ensuring that M&S Objective Evidence aligns with technical requirements and project milestones.
- Engage with various stakeholders to establish M&S requirement timelines, monitor the progress of M&S deliverables, and prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate M&S progress.

- Utilize extensive knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle and the role of M&S within this process to investigate, analyze, and address program challenges, proposing solutions that align with GMD's strategic objectives.

- Create and deliver technical documentation and presentations that effectively convey complex concepts, project status, analyses, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner.

Essential Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Engineering).
- Over 12 years of relevant experience in Models and Simulations and Systems Engineering.
- In-depth understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle.
- Proven experience in integrating models and simulations into cohesive system-of-systems simulations.Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with MDA processes.
- Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering.
- Competence in developing documentation for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB).

Compensation:
Salary range: $155,000 - $180,000 annually
