Role Overview:
In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground System Development (GMN) Project Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the GMN System Engineering Lead and Deputy by facilitating collaboration with the GMD Industry M&S team.
- Conduct thorough technical evaluations of GMD M&S strategies, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project milestones.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to establish M&S delivery timelines, monitor progress, and prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate M&S updates.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle and the role of M&S in the engineering process to investigate, analyze, and address program challenges, proposing solutions that align with GMD's strategic objectives.
- Create and deliver technical reports and presentations that effectively convey complex concepts, status updates, analyses, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Over 12 years of relevant experience in Modeling and Simulations and Systems Engineering.
- In-depth understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle.
- Proven experience in integrating models and simulations into cohesive system-of-systems simulations.
- Possession of an active Secret Clearance.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
