Role Summary:

KODA Technologies is in search of a Simulation and Modeling Specialist to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) GMD Ground System Development (GMN) Project Office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the GMN System Engineering Lead and Deputy by collaborating with the GMD Industry Modeling & Simulations team.
  • Perform technical evaluations of GMD M&S plans, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and milestones.
  • Establish and oversee Modeling & Simulation timelines, providing updates on M&S deliverables.
  • Investigate and assess program challenges, proposing solutions that align with GMD strategic objectives.
  • Create and deliver technical reports and presentations that clearly communicate complex concepts, status updates, analyses, and recommendations tailored to the audience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Engineering).
  • Over 12 years of relevant experience in Models and Simulations and Systems Engineering.
  • Possession of an Active Secret Clearance.
  • Thorough understanding of the System Engineering Life Cycle.
  • Experience in integrating models and simulations into cohesive, system-of-systems simulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Familiarity with MDA processes.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering.
  • Experience with CAMEO and SysML is advantageous.
  • Capability to prepare documentation for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB).

Clearance Requirement:

  • Secret clearance is required to begin.
