Position Overview

Alera Group is in search of a Commercial Lines Account Executive to enhance their Property & Casualty division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain executive-level relationships with clients.
  • Oversee overall client strategy, identifying challenges, summarizing, and formulating strategic solutions that align with the client's mission and vision.
  • Coordinate service delivery within the organization to guarantee outstanding client satisfaction.
  • Implement comprehensive client strategies ensuring high levels of satisfaction and exceptional service delivery through education on products, processes, and services, along with communication regarding timelines and necessary actions.
  • Manage communications regarding significant account-level changes to clients and engage in regular meetings to monitor progress as required.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on program placements for new business and renewals.
  • Support assigned producers during the sales and renewal processes to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Address complex issues (such as conflicting data, client objections, industry trends, and carrier challenges) and work towards providing solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with teams to confirm service delivery requirements and manage client expectations, ensuring internal performance meets clients' needs in accordance with firm guidelines.
  • Prepare sales presentations or proposals to clarify product specifications or applications. Collaborate with other teams to ensure client needs are met while adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of prior professional experience with a proven track record in customer relations and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Property & Casualty Licensure required; designations preferred.
  • Familiarity with principles and methods for presenting, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Understanding of general business principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, profit/loss requirements, organizational structures, and operational needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for networking, prospecting, and client engagements.
