Job Description

The Commercial Lines Producer is a key role at Allnations Insurance Agency, responsible for maintaining and maximizing profitable relationships with clients and their business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop commercial lines insurance opportunities with new and existing clients through in-person, online, and written communication.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Account Management: Actively partner, network, and plan for clients and business opportunities, ensuring sales targets are achieved and executing sales activity documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise, and answer questions, participating in formal and informal meetings as needed.
  • Client Retention: Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring business continuity.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education, staying informed about industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Account Audits: Review client audits, verify and facilitate corrections as needed, and maintain accurate A/R and billing.
Requirements
  • Insurance License: Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years of commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.
  • Professional Qualifications: Possess a valid driver's license and a source of reliable transportation, demonstrating strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
  • Sales and Communication Skills: Have a proven track record of business-to-business sales success, possessing strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Possess outstanding organizational skills, with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technology Proficiency: Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and possess technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems.
