Position Overview

Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Executive to take charge of our Property & Casualty division. This role is pivotal in guiding clients through risk management strategies to help them achieve their long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture executive-level relationships with clients.
  • Oversee the overall client strategy, identifying challenges and creating strategic solutions aligned with the client's mission.
  • Coordinate service delivery across the organization to ensure outstanding client satisfaction.
  • Implement client strategies, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication regarding products, timelines, and necessary actions.
  • Manage communications regarding significant account changes and participate in regular progress meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on program placements for new business and renewals.
  • Support assigned producers during sales and renewal processes to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Address complex issues, including conflicting data and client objections, while providing solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ensure service delivery requirements are met and manage client expectations by monitoring internal performance.
  • Prepare sales presentations or proposals to articulate product specifications and applications, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in customer relations with a proven track record in new business development.
  • Property & Casualty Licensure required; designations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles and methods.
  • Understanding of general business principles, strategic planning, and operational needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for networking and client engagements.
