Job Summary:
The Regional Vice President, Commercial Sales Leader is responsible for leading regional sales teams to achieve business targets. This role supports the South Atlantic, Central, Western, and Northeastern United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer and trade-lane specific business plans, and manage sales staff to achieve/exceed weekly production quotas for the region.
- Lead sales management, ensuring that national sales standards of performance are met by the sales team, especially standards for providing value and top-tier service to customers.
- Manage qualification of new business opportunities within company standards.
- Build and cultivate customer relationships within the assigned region.
- Drive performance through strong communication within and across functions.
- Drive the development of the regional sales team through deliberate succession and development planning and performance management.
- Ensure team adherence to corporate policy, especially with regard to operational budgets.
Requirements:
- Record of successful leadership, innovation, and goal achievement with ability to manage in an environment of accountability.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to work effectively in team situations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 8+ years of industry experience required.
- 3+ years management experience required.
- 5+ years commercial carrier outside sales experience preferred.
