Job Overview

As a Support Specialist at Tri-County Human Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Generate reports and correspondence using internal software and databases as requested by supervisory staff.
  • Manage electronic health records by setting up patient charts, billing records, and processing payments according to agency policies.
  • Provide detailed information and respond to inquiries about the agency's services.
  • Assist in creating work schedules for Human Services Technicians and nursing staff as directed.
  • Facilitate transportation arrangements for clients when necessary.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience. Additional education may substitute for experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel is essential.
  • A typing speed of at least thirty words per minute is required, with a preference for sixty words per minute.
