Position Overview
The Assistant Vice President of Commercial Loan Servicing plays a crucial role in overseeing and strategically planning the operations of loan servicing, escrow, and payoff teams. This position is vital for ensuring efficient management and execution of loan operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor teams involved in insurance, tax, mortgage insurance, payoff quoting, and special loans.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to foster departmental growth and enhance performance.
  • Provide dynamic leadership to cultivate effective leaders and skilled specialists within the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure adherence to standards and achievement of objectives.
  • Analyze monthly operational statistics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Establish performance metrics and guide the team to meet and exceed these benchmarks.
  • Enhance departmental processes and procedures to improve overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, maintaining thorough tracking of relevant regulations.
  • Participate in quality control reviews and assist with external audits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • At least ten years of experience in mortgage, banking, or loan servicing is required, with a minimum of five years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in escrow administration, real estate tax, or insurance-related positions is highly desirable.
  • Strong management skills with a focus on training, motivating, and monitoring staff performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in time management and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with call center operations is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
