Loan Operations Analyst II

The Loan Operations Specialist II is tasked with overseeing and generating all written communications promptly and accurately for various specialized loan portfolios, including Balloon loans, Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARMs), Loan Modifications, and Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) loans.
Key Responsibilities- Manage error resolutions for specialized loan products and implement process updates to minimize inaccuracies.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal inquiries related to the processing of specialized loan functions.
- Facilitate training on specialized loan operations, including report generation and MSP data management.
Regularly update and review the MSP system with new indices pertinent to the ARM portfolio. Ensure that all necessary correspondence is dispatched to borrowers in accordance with applicable laws and agency guidelines. Review upcoming changes to guarantee the accuracy of ARM data and timely consumer disclosures. Provide support and training to team members regarding ARM functions.
Conduct system maintenance and ensure proper documentation for all adjustments made to critical loan data, including modifications, due date changes, and deferments. Ensure compliance with legal and agency guidelines in all borrower communications.
Complete all data requirements within MSP for various loan types, including Step Rate Modifications, Balloon Loans, Deferred Interest Loans, and Pay Option ARMs. Maintain, update, and generate reports for specialized loan functions to support the team and identify discrepancies within the loan portfolio.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
- Preferred experience in loan servicing and familiarity with Balloon, ARM, and SCRA loan documents.
- Understanding of FHA, VA, and USDA government loan products is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to instruct team members.
- Experience in reporting and data analytics, with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and effective time management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
