Infrastructure Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of projects, initiating with the creation of the preliminary project design concept and formulating a comprehensive project plan, which includes determining staffing needs and crafting a project timeline.
- Facilitate the implementation of project design, overseeing resource management within the constraints of budget and schedule, culminating in the management of bid and construction phase engineering service support.
- Act as a project engineer, independently coordinating the efforts of engineers, designers, and sub-consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and nurture client relationships, attending client meetings as required.
- Engage in marketing initiatives, contract development, and design execution.
- Assist in overseeing the financial dimensions of assigned engineering projects, ensuring that project work is completed on time and within budget.
- Manage multiple projects and client engagements concurrently.
- Utilize computer-aided engineering and design software to produce engineering and design documentation.
- Ensure adherence to project team quality system tasks as outlined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control protocols.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and fulfill other contractual obligations.
- Prepare, submit, and coordinate the execution of relocation, acquisition, and condemnation documents with clients, property owners, and title companies.
- Participate in closing meetings.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field or a related discipline.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with the typical life cycles of public works projects, from development through construction.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or the ability to obtain reciprocity in Texas within six months of employment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
