As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in enhancing Freese and Nichols' presence in the TxDOT sector by utilizing your design expertise and professional network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing a team of engineers, technicians, and designers on transportation projects to guarantee quality and uniformity
  • Leading design teams and acting as the company representative on medium to large-scale transportation projects
  • Collaborating with transportation personnel on various project elements including roadway design, bridges, traffic management, and environmental considerations
  • Cultivating relationships with clients
  • Overseeing intricate studies and assessments for transportation projects
  • Analyzing project decisions to ensure design integrity and its effect on timelines and budgets
  • Staying updated on regulations and technological innovations
  • Managing extensive and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Engaging in contract management and execution
  • Mentoring team members and preparing technical documentation
  • Reviewing plans for adherence to TxDOT standards
  • Leading a team of engineering professionals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer Registration in Texas
  • Over 8 years of experience with TxDOT projects
  • Expertise in TxDOT procedures and documentation
  • Proven track record in securing TxDOT contracts
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
