Overview:

  • Cannonball Recruiting LLC is on the lookout for a Lead Civil Engineering Specialist to contribute to multidisciplinary designs encompassing both public and private site projects across various sectors including logistics, industrial facilities, healthcare, educational institutions, office spaces, commercial enterprises, residential developments, hospitality, energy solutions, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment while tackling diverse project challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum professional experience: 12+ years
  • Minimum leadership experience: 5 years
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word), and PDF editing tools (Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain a comprehensive perspective regarding project objectives and coordinate various design disciplines
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of project initiatives and engage with clients
  • Foster existing client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities
  • Guide and mentor junior team members
  • Draft proposals and monitor project budgets to ensure profitability
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control assessments
  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Design and detail site layouts, grading, roadways, and utility systems
  • Develop designs for stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulic systems, and erosion control
  • Comprehend local, state, and federal regulations and navigate the permitting process
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies
  • Participate in evening meetings as required
