Job Overview

Compensation: $100-120k/year + phone allowance

Position Summary:

  • Cannonball Recruiting LLC is in search of a Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, encompassing both public and private site developments across various sectors such as warehousing, industrial, healthcare, education, office, commercial, residential, hospitality, energy, and infrastructure. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be adept at collaborating within a dynamic team environment while tackling diverse project challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: At least 12 years in the field
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word), and PDF editing software (e.g., Bluebeam, Adobe)
  • Work Ethic: Strong attendance and punctuality
  • Vision: Ability to understand overarching project objectives and coordinate various design disciplines
  • Independence: Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all project phases and maintain client interactions
  • Foster existing client relationships while seeking new opportunities
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers
  • Draft proposals and monitor project budgets for profitability
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control processes
  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Design and detail site layouts, grading, roadways, and utility systems
  • Develop designs for stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulic systems, and erosion control
  • Comprehend local, state, and federal regulations and navigate the permitting process
  • Engage with regulatory bodies as necessary
  • Participate in evening meetings as required
