Survey Manager

Our client, a reputable civil engineering firm, is seeking a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor to lead their Survey department. As a key member of the Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Survey department and mentor junior staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, promoting the company's Survey capabilities and securing future work.
- Prepare proposals and market the company's Survey services to secure new projects.
- Oversee the survey aspects of civil and transportation engineering projects, including topographic and right-of-way surveys.
- Prepare and sign survey and right-of-way plans for PennDOT and PTC projects.
- Prepare technical and price proposals for survey and right-of-way portions of transportation and other projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Surveying.
- Familiarity with PennDOT's ECMS system.
- Proficiency in operating Conventional Total Stations, Trimble and/or Leica Robotic Total Stations, GPS, static, RTK, and RTN, and associated software.
- Ability to perform QA/QC for survey computations and data collection, as well as CAD and Design performed by staff.
