Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and oversee bridge projects for various governmental entities, primarily within the Pennsylvania region.
  • Provide technical support for bridge inspection initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic area.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including PennDOT and other public and private clients.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical personnel.
  • Manage and coordinate National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) bridge condition inspection projects.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 8-12 years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least 4-7 years of management experience.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in:

  • MicroStation software.
  • Bridge inspection and load rating using PennDOT software and STAAD.
  • Project management for bridge inspection and design projects.

Preferred Attributes:

Additional qualifications that would enhance a candidate's profile include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in developing project scopes and fee estimates.
  • Established relationships with PennDOT and local agencies.
