Logistics Coordinator for Surgical Supplies

As a Logistics Coordinator for Surgical Supplies, you will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient flow and distribution of essential medical supplies and equipment for critical surgical operations. This role requires you to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented setting, utilizing your exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and comprehensive knowledge of medical supply management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication & Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between Supply Chain, Warehouse, and ASC teams. Provide training, resolve issues, and conduct collaborative meetings.
- Logistics & Quality Assurance: Adhere to inventory management principles, ensure proper storage and handling of supplies, perform inventory counts, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Data Management, Analytics & Reporting: Employ inventory management software to monitor usage, predict requirements, and uncover cost-saving opportunities. Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage incoming shipments, and handle product recalls and backorders effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Possess knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards relevant to medical supply chain management, including those established by regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of four years of experience in supply chain roles is strongly preferred, with at least two years required.
- At least four years of experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred, with a minimum of two years required.
- Supply chain management certification is preferred (e.g., APICS CPIM or equivalent).
Pay Range: $43.92 per hour

Vancouver Clinic offers a competitive Total Rewards Program. Eligibility for benefits is determined by factors such as position type and FTE. Benefit-eligible employees can access benefits starting on the first of the month following one month of employment. The clinic provides a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and various supplemental benefits. Additionally, a 401k retirement plan is available with employer contributions after the first year of employment. Benefit-eligible employees accrue paid time off (PTO) and Personal Time based on hours worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full-time staff and 200 hours for full-time supervisors and above, with increases in subsequent years. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked. Employees are also entitled to up to six paid holidays per year, depending on their schedule.
