As a Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the seamless delivery of essential supplies and equipment for vital surgical operations. You will excel in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of medical supply protocols.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as the main point of contact among Supply Chain, Warehouse, and ASC teams. Provide training, resolve issues, and conduct team meetings to foster collaboration.
  • Logistics & Quality Control: Adhere to inventory management principles, guarantee appropriate storage and handling, perform inventory audits, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage inventory management systems to monitor usage, predict requirements, and uncover cost-saving strategies. Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Inventory Oversight: Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage the receipt of goods, and handle product recalls and shortages effectively.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and standards pertinent to medical supply chain management, including those established by regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a supply chain environment, including procurement, purchasing, receiving, and distribution is required.
  • At least two years of experience in the healthcare sector is required.
  • Certification in supply chain management is preferred (e.g., APICS CPIM or similar).

Compensation:

Pay Range: $43.92

Vancouver Clinic offers a comprehensive Total Rewards Program. Eligibility for benefits varies based on position type and full-time equivalent (FTE). Employees eligible for benefits will start accruing them on the first of the month following one month of employment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. Additionally, a 401k retirement plan is available with employer contributions after the first year. Paid time off (PTO) and personal time are accrued based on hours worked, with specific totals for full-time staff and supervisors. Employees may also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year.
