Role Overview: The Accounts Payable Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by executing a range of clerical accounting duties. Responsibilities will include processing invoices, ensuring proper authorization, managing timecards, and completing associated documentation and reporting tasks. This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting.

Work Arrangement: Full-Time

Key Duties:

  • Assist the finance department with accounts payable functions.
  • Perform essential office tasks, including filing, data entry, and generating reports.
  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Verify the accuracy of documentation and account balances.
  • Upload invoices into the accounting software and input relevant data.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to secure necessary approvals and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Address inquiries from vendors and customers regarding payments and invoices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, computational, and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and related applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High level of integrity and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's Degree or a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the industry is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other accounting management software is advantageous.
