Position Overview:
Are you skilled at resolving technical challenges? Do you excel in troubleshooting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Equipment Service Specialist at N C Machinery. This pivotal role within our organization involves diagnosing and repairing a range of equipment, including Caterpillar, Allied, and Genie aerial machinery. Your responsibilities will include disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and installing various components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to engines, powertrains, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Utilize CAT diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively.
  • Plan and organize multiple projects while maintaining a focus on controlling job costs.
  • Investigate, analyze, and identify problems to provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, requiring strong interpersonal communication and proficient writing skills for accurate documentation.

Work Schedule:
This position operates on a rotational schedule of three weeks on and three weeks off.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with completion of a 2-4 year vocational technical program or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, hoists, and cranes may be required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook) is necessary.
  • The role demands the ability to stand for extended periods and includes physical activities such as twisting, bending, squatting, and kneeling. Flexibility to work in both shop and field environments is essential.
  • Experience with Caterpillar products or working in a CAT dealership is highly desirable.

Compensation:
The hourly wage starts at $29.70, with potential adjustments based on skills and experience.
