Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth for TECO Westinghouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the oil filled transformer industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
    • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve corporate goals and objectives
    • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Lead Sales Team
    • Direct and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales team members
  • Market Analysis and Customer Insights
    • Conduct market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Channel Development and Sales Distribution
    • Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution
    • Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales
    • Prepare and present sales reports to executive team and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
    • Five to ten years of related experience and/or training
  • Language Skills
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to write reports and prepare presentations
  • Mathematical Skills
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Reasoning Ability
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on driving business growth and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

The physical demands of this role include regular standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance, and must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
