SUMMARY
Oversee general orders as assigned to ensure that all contractual commitments are fulfilled satisfactorily, leading to customer satisfaction and timely payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to all order entry protocols as specified in the relevant documentation.
Conduct, participate in, and/or request contract meetings.
Collect all necessary data to finalize the TECO-WESTINGHOUSE shop order and/or clarify information requested by clients. Schedule drawings and revisions.
Manage the procurement of customer-supplied items.
Assess 'hold status' and monitor all held shop orders to release in accordance with customer needs.
Maintain close communication with the Order Service Representative.
Engage with customer representatives regarding orders.
Inform field sales and customers about shipping dates and any changes.
Review and process customer change notifications. Negotiate pricing and delivery adjustments.
Collaborate with production planning on all rescheduling activities.
Identify all software requirements prior to or at shipment and ensure timely submittals.
Meet with customer inspectors or witnesses and facilitate their visits.
Coordinate the receipt of shipping addresses and necessary approvals.
Work with the Controller and QA departments to resolve shortages and pending items.
Train and support Junior Project Administrators.
Regular attendance is a critical function of this role.
Compliance with applicable Company policies to maintain a drug-free workplace is mandatory.
Adhere to all Company policies, including compliance with ISO 9001 Standards and the Company Affirmative Action Plan and Safety procedures.
Incorporate the standards of excellence as defined by TECO-Westinghouse (pride, desire, teamwork, attention to detail, follow-through) into daily tasks to foster a total quality environment through personal commitment to excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned (non-essential functions).
SCOPE, PURPOSE AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS:
This position involves extensive interaction with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Field Sales, and regular communication with customers.
Proactively inform management of potential customer concerns to prevent dissatisfaction.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering and/or Business Administration) from a four-year college or university; and/or five or more years of relevant contracts and/or motor experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage several abstract and concrete variables.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Some supervision is necessary; however, it is expected that the employee will work with limited direction after specific objectives, policies, and procedures are established.
