VCA Animal Hospitals is in search of a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Client Relations Specialist with additional Veterinary Assistant capabilities to become a vital part of our team on a full-time basis.

We offer flexible scheduling options, including both daytime and nighttime shifts.

We seek a friendly yet highly professional individual who excels in customer service to help us fulfill our commitment to our clients and their beloved pets.

As a 24/7 Emergency & Primary Care facility, we are supported by an exceptional team of compassionate veterinarians, proficient technicians, and a well-trained support staff.

Ideal candidates will possess a positive demeanor and a strong work ethic, with 2-3 years of experience in the veterinary field preferred. Self-motivation and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

As the face of VCA, the Veterinary Client Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing the atmosphere of the practice, fostering trust and confidence among our clients.

The responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including welcoming visitors, managing phone inquiries, and directing clients and their pets to examination areas.
  • Coordinating and confirming appointments.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients.
  • Presenting and clarifying fees, including processing payments.
  • Advising clients on product and service options, including prescriptions.
  • Addressing inquiries about products and services, and educating clients on general pet care practices.
  • Maintaining medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the facility, both inside and outside.

Work Schedule:
Flexible - Day & Night shifts, including weekends.

Compensation:
Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and licensure status.
