Role Overview

  • Deliver high-quality patient care services
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions
  • Encourage collaboration among multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions
  • Adhere to professional standards and comply with quality assurance policies and regulations
  • Facilitate effective communication with staff, medical personnel, and patients to ensure coordinated care
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Notify management of departmental issues and propose solutions promptly
  • Design and implement tailored physical therapy programs to support patient recovery and maximize physical capabilities
  • Educate patients on the appropriate use of supports and exercise regimens
  • Administer or delegate treatment modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy
  • Follow established documentation and reporting protocols
  • Obtain necessary prescriptions for patient treatments
  • Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive service delivery and quality care
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as needed
  • Safeguard center assets against loss or misuse
  • Engage in professional development through meetings and educational opportunities
  • Communicate with the Outcome Assurance Injury Coordinator or Case Manager regarding patient progress and compliance
  • Participate in the clinical training of occupational therapy students
  • Contribute to the evaluation of rehabilitation quality management processes and suggest improvements
  • Ensure adherence to licensing, certification, and accreditation standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted physical therapy license
  • Preferred experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
