Join the Medical City Dallas team, where we equip you with the necessary tools and resources for success. We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapist to help us achieve our objectives.

Position Summary and Requirements

Rehabilitation Therapists are responsible for conducting assessments, establishing treatment goals, delivering therapy, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans based on patient needs across various conditions, including neurological, orthopedic, and oncology cases. Our therapists are committed to delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions, precautions, and limitations through verbal and written communication.
  • Prepare necessary clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Assist management with daily departmental operations and additional assigned tasks.
  • Effectively communicate with and supervise therapy assistants, aides, and students.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Ensure the financial sustainability of Therapy Services by submitting accurate billing and clinical information.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is granted).
