POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Operations Auditor is responsible for enhancing program operations by conducting audits of marking and associated activities at various depot terminals nationwide. This role necessitates regular field visits and close cooperation with Nationwide Technologies Limited (NTL) personnel.

The auditor will primarily oversee the Program's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols, ensuring compliance and effective implementation at different fuel terminals. Furthermore, this position will assist the field maintenance team in achieving the objectives of the Ghana petroleum products marking scheme (PPMS).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of marker preparation, dosing, reconciliation, and storage at depots.
  • Conduct regular on-site audits of the marking process to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Report significant data and issues to management for prompt resolution.
  • Enforce standard operating procedures and ensure strict compliance by NTL depot personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement of program deliverables and methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate principles, values, and policies to address issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office and other internal departments to facilitate optimal program delivery.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as required.
  • Adhere to the company's health and safety policies and quality systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of fuel terminal operations
  • Ability to comprehend contractual obligations
  • Strong problem-solving and reporting capabilities
  • Proficient in computer usage and report writing
  • Experience in drafting, implementing, and enforcing SOPs
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience in a similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas sector
