JOB SUMMARY

The Program Operations Auditor plays a critical role in supporting operational processes by conducting audits of marking and associated activities at fuel terminals nationwide. This position necessitates regular field engagement and close collaboration with Nationwide Technologies Limited (NTL) personnel.

The Program Operations Auditor will primarily oversee the Program's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols, ensuring compliance and effective execution at various fuel terminals. Additionally, this role will assist the field maintenance team in achieving the objectives of the Ghana petroleum products marking scheme (PPMS).

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of marker preparation, dosing, reconciliation, and storage at the depots.
  • Conduct regular on-site audits of the marking process to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Report significant data/issues of concern to management for prompt resolution.
  • Uphold and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring strict compliance by NTL depot staff.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of program deliverables and methodologies.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate principles, values, and policies to address issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office and other internal departments to facilitate excellent program delivery.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
  • Adhere to the company's health and safety policies and quality systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Understanding of fuel terminal operations
  • Adept at interpreting contractual obligations
  • Strong problem-solving and reporting capabilities
  • Proficient in computer and report writing skills
  • Experience in drafting, implementing, and enforcing SOPs
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and standards

  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience in a similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods; must be able to hear and verbally communicate to exchange information in person, via computer messaging applications, or over the phone; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 20 kilos; operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement; and occasionally travel to other locations using various modes of transportation.
