Job Overview

Malone Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor with a strong background in team leadership, forklift operation, and meticulous attention to detail.

Shift Details:

Working hours are from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Additional time may be required in the mornings and/or evenings. Occasional work on Fridays or Saturdays may be necessary, though this is infrequent.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $22 per hour.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cut production workforce, ensuring adherence to all safety, quality, and production standards. This role reports directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train production employees on the cut floor.
  • Manage daily workflow and task assignments for the entire cut production area.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of daily production sheets for each team member.
  • Set clear expectations for team members and assist them in meeting production goals.
Additional Duties:
  • Oversee all operations related to cut production.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize daily work schedules.
  • Adapt to custom change orders and coordinate with the assembly department.
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of incoming materials.
  • Ensure proper identification and warehousing of products.
  • Quickly troubleshoot any operational issues that arise.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of production cut operations and machinery.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills with a history of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of four months of forklift experience required.
Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have at least two years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in the manufacturing sector. Previous experience with Malone Workforce Solutions is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate the production facility and grounds.
  • Capability to lift over 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday.
