Job Overview

Malone Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor with a strong background in team leadership, forklift operation, and meticulous attention to detail.

Shift Details:

Working hours are from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Occasional additional time may be required in the mornings or evenings. Weekend work is infrequent but may be necessary.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $22/hr.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the cut production team, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. This role reports directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise cut floor production staff.
  • Manage daily workflow and task assignments for the production cut floor.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations in line with company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of daily production records for each team member.
  • Set clear expectations for team members and assist them in meeting production goals.
Additional Duties:
  • Oversee all operations related to production cutting.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to create efficient work schedules.
  • Adapt to custom change orders and coordinate with the assembly department.
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of incoming materials in the lumber yard.
  • Stay informed about processes and machinery.
  • Ensure proper identification and storage of products.
  • Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Complete and verify all necessary paperwork.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of production cutting operations and machinery.
  • Exceptional leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of four months of forklift experience required.
Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have at least two years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. Previous experience with KWP is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate the production facility and grounds.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds regularly.
