Job Summary

The Major Account Executive is a sales leadership role that drives the company's efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location prospects and customers within an assigned territory.

This role is responsible for achieving sales quotas in multiple product lines offered by the company in a given sales year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis by introducing the company's products to assigned strategic accounts and prospects.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel who make or influence the buy decision in assigned customer accounts and prospects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the customer's business to effectively communicate and sell the company's product solutions.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Work closely with Account Managers/Senior Account Managers to team sell and prospect Refrigerated Accounts, providing leads, sales strategies, and mentorship.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of successful sales experience in a business-to-business strategic sales environment, preferably in the trailer/power industry or equipment leasing.
  • PC proficiency and ability to use the company's CRM/Salesforce system.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability.
Work Environment

This role requires extensive travel up to 60-75% of the time and involves working in an office environment.
