We are looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to become a part of our Moving I-4 Forward initiative in Orlando, FL. This role will involve supporting internal and external communications related to the Moving I-4 Forward project. You will provide assistance and guidance to the Strategic Communications Team in areas such as public information and community engagement. As Florida's largest transportation program, the Moving I-4 Forward initiative is set to revolutionize a vital corridor in the state and redefine the transportation sector's delivery methods. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation in Florida. This position will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals from client offices in Celebration, FL (hybrid).

Your Contributions to the Team
- Support internal and external communications regarding the Moving I-4 Forward Program, including the creation of press releases, newsletters, fact sheets, talking points, public service announcements, social media content, FAQs, and other informational materials.
- Assist in designing various communication materials such as project displays, flyers, brochures, newsletters, presentations, and maps.
- Help coordinate and execute special events, including public meetings, open houses, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and project tours.
- Contribute to communication reporting.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners for the production of communication materials.
- B.S. or B.A in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a communications role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, managers, citizens, and elected officials.
- Capacity to listen and respond appropriately to community concerns.
- Understanding of communication policies, practices, style guides, and brand standards.
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in standard computer software.
- Fluency in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Quick responsiveness to company and client needs.
- Flexibility and a strong work ethic.
