Key Responsibilities:

As the Deputy General Manager, you will lead a team of exceptional individuals who embody our core values. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Setting a positive example and maintaining open communication within the team.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Inspiring and guiding team members to exceed customer expectations, ensuring a friendly and efficient service in a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager on inventory management, labor distribution, and operational strategies.
  • Developing staffing plans that accommodate expected volume changes.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to protect the health of our customers and staff.
  • Assisting in supervisory tasks, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Coordinating and overseeing team member schedules to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Directing staff on the floor to ensure efficient service and address any operational challenges.
  • Managing the expo station to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
  • A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in the hospitality or restaurant field.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college education preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compliance with local food handling regulations is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are advantageous.
