As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the mission of enhancing security measures by providing essential Scientific and Technical Deliverables. Your role will involve conducting Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation to identify emerging challenges and opportunities, formulating operational concepts, and thoroughly examining alternatives to guide the development process and address the complexities of future operational landscapes.
This initiative will bolster the capability of our organization to strategize, support, integrate, execute, and report on experimental operations.
Key areas of focus may include critical technology domains such as trustworthy artificial intelligence and autonomous systems.
Location:
- This position is based onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze System Security Plans, System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAAs), system and network schematics, Security Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), Risk Assessments, and related Information System Certification and Accreditation documentation in accordance with established standards.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document Information System security certification assessments and compile Security Certification Test Reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Facilitate Approvals to Operate.
- Examine systems, networks, and facilities for adherence to Information Security standards and policies.
- Generate regular progress reports.
Required Qualifications:
- DoD IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience or certifications related to the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Familiarity with DoD, Intelligence Community, and National Security Policies, Regulations, Directives, and Instructions.
Security Clearance:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Clearance: TS/SCI; flexibility for SECRET may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 5-12 years of experience in an IT-related domain, leveraging this experience and judgment to achieve objectives.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Master's Degree in an IT-related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address system issues
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
