Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Cloud Solutions Architect, possessing a deep technical background in cloud technologies and a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by national security organizations.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise and strategic vision to facilitate cloud transformation in sensitive environments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced cloud solutions specifically for national security organizations, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Utilize modern architectures, including containerization and microservices, employing technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure meets rigorous compliance standards.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security measures.
  • Lead cloud transformation initiatives, focusing on migration strategies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Oversee complex cloud migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
  • Develop comprehensive cloud adoption strategies, including risk management and business continuity planning.
  • Design scalable and resilient cloud architectures, emphasizing high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Continuously assess and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Serve as a technical expert, sharing knowledge of cloud technologies and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and standard operating procedures for cloud operations.
  • Conduct evaluations of existing cloud infrastructures, focusing on scalability and performance enhancements.

Qualifications:
  • Active security clearance, with a preference for higher-level clearances.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud computing, particularly in the context of national security.
  • Expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, supported by relevant certifications.
  • Strong understanding of federal security standards and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful cloud architecture and migration projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to challenges.
