Position Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Construction Security Programs to enhance the standardization of project initiation, oversight, evaluation, and closure tools at both project and portfolio levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead detailed planning and execution management to accommodate a diverse collaborator knowledge base.
  • Champion the development and maintenance of a master work breakdown structure, along with ongoing records of project lessons learned.
  • Implement organizational process assets, risk mitigation routines, and scope verification.
  • Monitor actual performance against established timelines, identify potential risks early, and utilize tools to assist project teams in mitigating these risks.
  • Ensure adherence to project standard methodologies through a feedback loop, enhancing compliance with defined scope, quality, risk tolerances, budget, and schedule.
  • Establish a high-level user adoption and acceptance of scalable methodologies across various Vantage projects.
  • Generate foundational work products for monthly project status and financial reporting.
  • Set up the execution management tool (EMT) for every construction project.
  • Develop department-specific onboarding, training, and orientation processes as the team expands.
  • Provide guidance on procedural specifications, file repository structures, and standardized toolsets with a focus on continuous improvement.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain program-level organizational process assets and project/portfolio risk management.
  • Ensure governance and compliance management with the defined department work breakdown structure.
  • Drive quality control and continuous improvement initiatives for project processes.
  • Oversee procedural tasks, milestones, and activities within the department.
  • Create and maintain necessary forms, templates, logs, and file repository systems while leading change control.
  • Audit defined process flows, refine them to eliminate waste, and create new processes as needed.
  • Supervise open-source and subscription-based networks to stay updated on security trends and inform the Global Security project team.
  • Build a network of sources to support the development of relevant information impacting client interests.
  • Understand business objectives and recommend new approaches, technologies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in program management or equivalent managerial roles, with 5 to 7+ years preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates with construction industry experience.
  • PMI/PMP Certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with Access Control Systems (ACS) and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) required.
  • Hands-on expertise with low-voltage security technologies including CCTV, access control, IP networking, and structured cabling.
  • Experience in designing security systems for new facilities, including the placement of access control systems and cameras.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to present large datasets succinctly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, with potential increases during construction projects.
  • Ability to provide 24/7 support and work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office 365.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
