Role Overview: The primary objective of a Quill Inside Sales Team Manager is to cultivate a respectful, engaged, and diverse workplace culture that promotes a growth mindset and drives results. This is achieved through effective coaching, maintaining open communication, and implementing strategic initiatives while managing change. Our managers emphasize transparency and accountability for both their teams and themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide frontline sales representatives through consistent coaching, development, and accountability to ensure the effective execution of sales processes and strategies aimed at growing and retaining sales.
  • Conduct regular call coaching sessions and engage in crucial conversations.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales strategies within the designated team/campaign focus, gathering insights on successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the team meets sales quotas and productivity KPIs, with at least 60% of team members consistently achieving or exceeding expectations.
  • Enhance team and campaign performance through call monitoring, coaching, and collaboration, ensuring representatives have the necessary support for success.
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive, and positive team environment.
  • Oversee the meticulous hiring process for new associates and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Communicate team feedback and suggestions to sales leadership for process improvements and campaign evolution.
  • Facilitate performance evaluations and manage formal performance improvement plans, maintaining thorough documentation for all team members.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or people management.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in people management.
  • Proven track record in conducting effective call coaching sessions and crucial conversations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools or comparable sales/reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Experience in navigating adversity with a results-oriented approach.
