The Senior Financial Auditor serves as a key advisor to the organization, spearheading the execution of financial, operational, risk-based, corporate governance, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits for Zebra's domestic and international operations.

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the Senior Financial Auditor is accountable for the indirect oversight of Internal Auditor Staff and Interns.


Responsibilities:
1. Plan, lead, and execute financial, operational, and compliance/governance internal audit initiatives, providing actionable recommendations to business leaders.

2. Innovate and utilize comprehensive business insight to evaluate emerging risk areas across Zebra's global operations and advise on best practices and process enhancements.

3. Collaborate with the Internal Audit Analytics Advisor to develop continuous auditing techniques and data analytics within the department.

4. Lead or assist in the execution of US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance audits, advising business leaders on optimal control frameworks.


5. Engage in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities to assess key strategic, operational, reporting, and compliance risks, consulting with management on strategies to mitigate these risks.

Work alongside Internal Audit leaders to continuously enhance the Internal Audit function.


Qualifications:

Minimum

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc.)


2. 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., auditing, consulting, finance/operations, IT/security), including at least 2 years in auditing roles.

Candidates with a background in public accounting or consulting may be considered with 3+ years of experience or relevant Zebra experience, including participation in the FDP program.

3. Ability to work a hybrid schedule.

4. Willingness to travel up to 25% annually, including international travel.

Preferred

Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA) or advanced degrees are preferred.

2. Familiarity with IIA methodology and standards is preferred.

Key Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong understanding of core business processes (e.g., Accounting, Financial Reporting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Sales, Accounts Receivable & Credit, Fixed Assets, Payroll, etc.).

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3. Ability to communicate and influence at various organizational levels.

4. Basic knowledge of IT and security technologies.

5. Experience in project management, managing competing priorities, and adhering to tight deadlines.

6. Strong judgment and a commitment to achieving results.

7. Creative and entrepreneurial mindset.

8. Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.

9. Works effectively in an agile, team-oriented environment, focused on motivating and mentoring staff while embracing diverse perspectives.

Salary:
USD Yearly

Salary offered will vary based on location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs that link company and individual performance together. Some roles may also qualify for long-term incentive equity awards.
