Position Overview

The Branch Operations Leader will oversee the comprehensive operations of the branch, ensuring exemplary service to customers within the designated market. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company's esteemed brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and optimize operational activities for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational policies across various functions including warehousing, logistics, and customer service.
  • Lead and manage operational staff, focusing on recruitment, training, and development to meet organizational objectives.
  • Design and manage an efficient dispatch system.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set both short-term and long-term operational goals.
  • Monitor the operational budget to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the physical condition of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure comprehensive training for drivers in safety and operational effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technology to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Maintain direct communication with suppliers regarding inventory and delivery issues.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive business information.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
  • Participate in management discussions to shape the strategic direction of the company.
  • Foster professional growth and development among team members.
  • Adhere to safety policies and regulatory compliance across all operations.
  • Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant guidelines.
  • Implement company policies regarding personnel management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the building materials sector.
