Job Summary:

The Greenbrier Hotel is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet our menu demands.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure our menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or AOS or AS Degree in Culinary Arts.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, and ability to work well under pressure.

Working Conditions:
