The representative engages through various communication channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence, to address and resolve patient account inquiries while adhering to established standard operating procedures and client guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate payment collections and establish payment arrangements
  • Provide information on available discounts and assist with financial aid applications
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
  • Achieve acceptable average handling time (AHT) while ensuring quality service

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in medical customer service, patient account management, or insurance
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving
  • Ability to stay organized and thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in computer usage and documentation practices
  • Consistent work history demonstrating reliability
